Dutch beginner class
Entry level: little or no knowledge of Dutch
Creative hotspot Station Zuidwest offers Dutch beginner classes for foreigners. We aim at achieving language level A1 (lower intermediate).

We practice speaking Dutch, always in an informal, pleasant atmosphere. "Gezellig", as we say in Dutch.
We focus on speaking, pronunciation and increasing our vocabulary, combined with a bit of grammar. We learn to communicate about everyday topics, e.g. how to:
- introduce yourself
- tell something about yourself
- ask and answer simple questions like ‘Do you have children?’, ‘How was your week?’, ‘What kind of work do you do?’, ‘Did you have a good holiday?’
Learning new words gets a lot of emphasis, for instance about the house, school, family, groceries, weather, traffic, work, and of course about what the students would like or need to know.
The lessons are €5 per session. This includes coffee and tea.
